Tuesday, June 11th
Oh, woe is me! My bodily frame doth suffer thus:
- The garbage doth overflow, and none hath taken it out.
- My jaw doth ache, my head doth throb, and my neck doth protest when I lay me down.
- A general malaise doth afflict my muscles, legs, and shoulders, as if the very weight of the world did press upon me.
- The whims of weather do exacerbate my plight, as if the pressure and cold did conspire against me.
And yet, amidst this sea of woe, I find solace in the company of friends, many of whom have ties to the realm of entertainment. Stage hands, music producers, former rock stars, and even a friend who hath found fame in the land of Japan - all these do remind me that I am not alone in my struggles.
And thus, I find myself in conversation with Jean, who doth recall the music scene in Toronto, and my fondness for Sophia Powers doth stir memories of his own days as a music producer. Ah, how the mind doth wander, and how the connections of friendship do bind us together in our shared experiences!
